Executive Branch & Bureaucracy
1. Identify and explain the organization of the Executive
The president is the min component of the executive branch where he places cabinet positions which consist of head of multiple agencies that help the president carry out his responsibilities.
2. Identify and provide an example of the powers of the Executive, both formal and informal.
An informal power is called an inherit power whereas a formal power is called a delegated power. One example of a formal power is the power to veto any legislative passed by congress. An example of an informal power is Chief Diplomat informer.
3.Identify and explain how Executive shares powers with the Congress, Judiciary, and bureaucracy.
By checks and balances and bureaucracy itself. The checks and balances govern each other and tie into each other. The bureaucracy makes an individual go back to one branch to the other to complete a task or achieve something, The powers shared with all these branches interlink each other.
4.Discuss the implications of Executive sharing powers with each of the following: Congress, Judiciary, and bureaucracy.
Congress: The congress made out to have power over the exec branch, sometimes getting in the way of the exec branch from achieving things, the judiciary branch can deem any action of the exec branch as unconstitutional, and the bureaucracy crates negative connotations of frustration with government overall.
5. Discuss the functions that Executive performs.
The exec branch performs the responsibilities that were delegated to it in the constitution. These include chief legislator, chief exec, commander in chief, chief diplomat, chief of state, chief jurist. These roles are aided by the cabinet and other agencies specifically for the president's use and aid.

The role of a president is to be an apt representative of the nation, with domestic and foreign issues included. This can mean in a stress or a crisis, the power of a president can dwindle due to congress's power or elastic clause but the influence of the president is greatly enhanced because of the respect of the presidential status.

The power of the exec branch has increased gradually due to the past actions of the past presidents' and their drive to gain more power over congress using acts and laws. The way it does is that a president established a power, and the presidents thereafter gradually add to that power and expand upon it.

An informal role of the president is the chief of which ever party he is over the perty as a whole. The president is always assigned as one P.P. and he is in a battle against the opposite party to become the head. The political parties tie into the exec branch by the power-struggle each has with another and the president' s great involment in one or the other.

Interest groups can influence the president by threating campaign funds and support or the opposite that the president threatens the support of a piece of legislature that would help or hurt that I.G. This means that, again the president is part of the groups of others, typically the wealthy.

I mean by this that the president will invite the media to gain attention on a certain topic to help his image or to gain support by him across the nation.
